Life is a contiuous journey, filled with challenges and obstacles that penetrate us when we least expect them to. No matter what situation is thrown our way, we as humans must always find a way to adapt and overcome. Our lives are always evolving, going in directions that were nt perceived to be the future we had thought or planned for. A single decision, that at first seemed to be simple, or innocent can turn a life upside down. We never know what tomorrow will bring, but what ever comes out way we must embrace and continue to grow. Pain, suffering, sickness, disease are all things that will inevitably come to us all at one time or another. In times of struggle there are only two things that one can do, give up or adapt and overcome.

For this Installation, I have erected a tower made from wood. The tower will stand nearly three meters high and stretch out on the floor. The tower will consist of 25 squares 25cm x 25cm. Each square representing a different phase or journey in life, always growing always overcoming obstacles. Each square is connected, but reaches in a different direction to the next, evolving into one life. Holding on for the future and not letting go of the past. The overall outcome of the Installation was an evolution within itself as life is. The process followd the cliche, It is not the destination it is the journey that we will remember.
